Araucaria araucana seeds do not require stratification and can be sown directly. For best results, sow the seeds in well-draining soil and maintain a consistent moisture level. They prefer a sunny location with some partial shade. Germination can take several weeks at about 15C, so patience is key. Once sprouted, the seedlings should be carefully nurtured, ensuring they are not overwatered and are protected from extreme weather conditions.

For best results germinate in Spring when the weather starts to warm up.
