Natural Germination: Keteleeria evelyniana seeds benefit from cold stratification to break dormancy. Sowing them in autumn, letting them experience the winter chill, aids natural germination in spring.

Artificial Stratification: For controlled germination, soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours, then mix the seeds with moist substrate and refrigerate for 30 days. This simulates winter conditions, preparing the seeds for successful spring planting.
