Natural Germination: Maritime Pine Seeds naturally require a period of cold stratification to break dormancy. This process can be achieved naturally by sowing the seeds outdoors in autumn, allowing them to experience the winter cold, which stimulates germination in spring.

Artificial Stratification: For artificial stratification, place the seeds in a moist substrate (like sand or peat moss) and refrigerate for about 4-6 weeks. This mimics the natural cold period and prepares the seeds for successful germination when planted in warmer conditions.
