Symphoricarpos albus, popularly known as snowberry, is a versatile deciduous shrub that hails from North America. It boasts graceful, arching branches adorned with simple, oval leaves, which are often serrated at the edges.

One of its standout features is the dainty, pale pink flowers that appear in clusters during the summer, providing a delicate contrast to the lush green foliage. As the seasons progress, these blossoms give way to distinctive white berries, each measuring about 1.5cm in diameter, which adorn the shrub like pristine pearls. These berries not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also serve as a vital food source for birds and other wildlife. Snowberry’s adaptability and hardiness make it a suitable addition to various landscapes, from urban gardens to naturalized areas.
