Nootka cypress ‘Golden Waterfall’ 60/80cm (5L)

Nootka Cypress ‘Golden Waterfall’ – Chamaecyparis nootkatensis is a truly captivating conifer that brings a unique combination of form and colour to gardens. This cultivar is renowned for its distinctive weeping habit, with branches that cascade elegantly from the central leader, creating a living golden waterfall effect. The foliage is composed of flattened sprays of scale-like leaves that emerge a bright golden-yellow in spring, maintaining their vibrant hue throughout the growing season. In winter, the colour may take on subtle bronze tones, adding further interest. The tree’s narrow, columnar form combined with its pendulous branches makes it an excellent choice for adding vertical interest and a touch of drama to any setting. As it matures, ‘Golden Waterfall’ develops a broader silhouette but maintains its graceful, weeping character. This slow-growing conifer offers year-round appeal, serving as a stunning focal point in both formal and informal gardens.
