The Siberian Pea Tree’s vibrant yellow flowers, which bloom in early spring, are a true delight. They cascade down the branches, creating a stunning display that will captivate any gardener’s heart. The foliage is a lush, deep green, providing a beautiful backdrop for the vibrant blooms. As the seasons change, the leaves transform into a warm, golden hue, adding a touch of autumn splendour to your garden.
Originating from the harsh climates of Central Asia, the Siberian Pea Tree is well-equipped to thrive in the British climate. Its resilience and adaptability make it a low-maintenance choice for gardeners, allowing you to enjoy its beauty with minimal effort.
Plant bare root Siberian Pea Tree in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. While adaptable to most soil types, it prefers slightly alkaline conditions. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Once established, it’s extremely drought-tolerant. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape if desired. This hardy plant rarely requires fertilisation and is generally pest and disease-resistant.
