Or plant it in groups to create a low, colourful groundcover or edging. It looks fantastic in both modern and traditional garden designs, adding a touch of year-round sophistication and interest.
Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate that despite its small size, ‘Minima Glauca’ can still provide shelter for small insects and potentially nesting sites for small birds.

Its beautiful blue-green foliage and compact form add a touch of refinement to any garden, creating an attractive feature that’s sure to impress throughout the seasons.
Lawson Cypress ‘Minima Glauca’ is relatively easy to care for, which is good news for UK gardeners. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained, slightly acidic soil, but it’s adaptable to various soil types. When you first plant it, water regularly for the first growing season to help it establish. After that, it appreciates consistent moisture but can tolerate short periods of drought. Feed it with a slow-release, balanced fertiliser in spring if desired, but it generally doesn’t require much feeding.
