Natural Germination: Blue Atlas Cedar seeds typically require a cold period to break dormancy. In nature, seeds fall in autumn and go through winter’s cold, germinating in spring. Plant the seeds in autumn to align with this natural cycle.

Artificial Stratification: If planting at other times, soak for 24 hours, then optionally simulate this cold period by refrigerating the seeds for 30 days before sowing in a moist medium. Seeds should germinate at room temperature.
